Who Is Paul Mbaru?
DATA SCIENTIST & STATISTICIAN | MATHEMATICIAN | QUANT | ML ENTHUSIAST | DATA ENGINEER
Hey there! I’m Paul Mbaru Kamau, also known as PaulBear. From an early age, I’ve had a natural inclination toward identifying patterns and breaking down complex systems. That curiosity evolved into a strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and data science—where I now focus on machine learning, predictive modeling, and analytical problem-solving.
My interests sit at the intersection of finance, data, and computation. I’m particularly drawn to quantitative finance, where statistical thinking and real-world market dynamics meet. At the same time, my background in biostatistics keeps me grounded in scientific rigor and opens doors to applications in biology and beyond.
Outside of academics, I enjoy writing about finance, developing open-source projects, and exploring ideas in mathematics, data analysis, machine learning and biostatistics. Whether it's analyzing financial systems or building predictive models, I focus on clarity, precision, and edge.
